ICE QUEEN is an award-winning YA romantic suspense novel about teenage bullying in the digital world. It puts ordinary high school students into true-to-life situations that adolescents contend with every day, from sexting and cyberbullying to revenge porn and cyber-harassment, highlighting just how inadequate today’s laws are when dealing with these common online teen behaviors.
In this all-too-real modern Mean Girls tale, high school junior Blair Evans endures the relentless bullying of the Ice Queen and her obnoxious friends, which escalates to new heights when Blair falls for the Queen’s ex-boyfriend, David Woods. Blair desperately tries to escape the Queen’s wrath, but a nasty chain of events propels her into the midst of a cyberwar, and sexy pictures of her are delivered into the wrong hands.
Blair discovers that these explicit photos could end up turning her into a criminal, and they also ensnare David in a tangle of legal troubles. The couple finds themselves pitted against each other by their lawyers, while the Ice Queen uses the opportunity to try to seduce David back.
When Blair is finally working out a deal for her freedom, mysterious new photos of her surface and threaten her future. Blair and her closest friends must race against time to figure out who is behind them before she loses David for good and her entire world comes crashing down.
